The Challenge
The client, a large-scale industrial operation, depended on imported fuel to power its generators and heavy machinery. Their supply logistics were complex and costly, often resulting in delivery delays, high costs per barrel, and difficulties in obtaining fuel that met the quality and regulatory standards required for their operations.
Additionally, they faced increasing pressure to reduce their environmental footprint. The traditional fuels used in their processes generated high levels of emissions, including carbon dioxide (CO₂) and hydrogen sulfide (H₂S), which negatively impacted both the environment and the efficiency of their equipment.
Think Energy’s Solution
In just 90 days, Think Energy installed one of its modular plants on-site. Designed to operate with locally available crude or condensate, this technology enabled the direct transformation of raw materials into D3 Diesel and F4 Fuel Oil, cleaner, more efficient energy products that met regulatory requirements.
Thanks to our technology, validated by the Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University, and backed by a completed Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), the client was able to reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 50% while significantly lowering H₂S presence. This not only improved the quality of the final product but also extended the lifespan of their equipment.
